At Enon UMC, taking part in the worship experience is integral to
our spiritual growth. The Choir is an excellent way for you to take a
fundamental part in worship.
Dennis Carter, our
director, believes that the joining of hearts through music, sets up
the Biblical adage, "For wherever two or more are gathered in my
name, there I shall be also." And oh yeah, it oughta be fun!
This makes not only the participation of the choir in Sunday service
crucial, but rehearsals become a worship experience.
If you would like to
join the choir,
all you have to do is express an interest to any member of the
choir. It is expected that you are able to sing on the note (or at
least really close to it) have some experience in a choir
(Jr. High, High School, on the bus going to B'ball games) and really
love gathering twice a week praising Jesus name. Rehearsals are
Wednesday evening 7 - 8:30 and we sing each Sunday morning at the
11am service, both services on the third Sunday.
Also, if you don't think
you can make a full committment, think about joining just for the
holiday cantatas. Make the committment to the choir two months prior
to the Christmas and Easter Holy Week services.

A wonderful new
way for you to keep up with the "goings on" at the church.
The choir is having a
"music fund" fund raiser and there will be an opportunity for any
member of the church to advertise their business. If you are
interested in a way to have a visual presence, 365 days a year in
our church family's homes, contact Den or any member
of the choir.
